This year for Valentines Day we spent the day with the kids then shipped them off to their Grandma's to spend the night! The day started at the gym, I had to get in my 2 miles, then we took the kids to Toads Fun Zone. We all had a great time. We went with my brother and his two boys (for his son's, Colton, 12th birthday), a bunch of other 12 year old's that I didn't know and Hailey, Ky's friend. Yes, the poor boy's birthday is on Valentines Day, his wife is going to hate that!After my husband had his fun slaughtering me in laser tag, we spent WAY to much time and money playing arcade games and eating pizza. It was a great way to spend a snowy winter day.
For dinner we met with the entire clan at La Ferrovia to finish up Colton's birthday celebration! After dinner we dropped off the kids, then Joel and I spent the evening together relaxing in peace and quite! We made a quick stop at Maverick for frozen yogurt and a couple of Red Box movies. I found out the hard way why I will never read a Nicholas Sparks novel... :( We watched Nights in Rodanthe...very sad, sorry if I ruined it for you.
Overall, Valentines Day was great!
