Mini Staycation

On Saturday, July 9th, we took the kids and joined my parents on another one of my Mom's "adventures".  This time she invited everyone to go down to Thanksgiving Point in Lehi for the Utah Scottish Festival.  For some reason or another Brent, Christ, Susie and Ryan were unable to go...but Ry did talk Susie into letting Bodee go with us.

We watched the Wicked Tinkers perform, toured all of the little shops, and saw a lot of men in plaid skirts, lol.  The Wicked Tinkers were pretty cool...the long haired dude is pretty entertaining all by himself :)

About an hour after we got there the wind picked up and started blowing everything over...seriously CrAzY high winds.   So we left the festival around 4pm and decided to tortured Ky with a visit to Cabela's...honestly, Ky and I were both bored out of our minds...we will get even boys!!

A little while later my parents took Bodee home and the four of us stayed in Lehi for the night.  We took the kids to dinner, checked into our hotel room and then spent the evening swimming.  The next day we woke up, went to breakfast and went to the Living Planet Aquarium.
