Today I went to school with Ry this morning to help the 4th graders participate in a mock election. They have been learning about the voting process, the different parties, and about each of the candidates. This morning they each were given the chance to come out in the hall and go through the entire voting process, from registration, going into the booth to vote, depositing their vote, and receiving the famous "I VOTED!" sticker. They used a sample copy of the ballot us adults will be voting with tomorrow, minus the many different amendments.
The results are in:
For President: McCain
For U.S. House: Bishop
For Senate: Jenkins
For State House: Greenwood
For Govenor: Huntsman, Jr.
For Weber County Commissioner: Dearden
